Gislingham woman admits six thefts

A woman from Gislingham may face a jail sentence after changing to a ‘guilty’ plea in a case involving multiple theft.

Karen Robinson of Broadfield Road was due to stand trial at Ipswich Crown Court before changing the original ‘not guilty’ plea. According to the Diss Express, the woman’s lawyer said that she had been suffering from mental health issues when the offences were committed.

The thefts were carried out against people who employed Robinson as a cleaner.

Sentence will be handed down in November.
