My name is Edward Griss and I am a member of the Primates Scout Explorer unit in Mendlesham.
I am a resident in Columbine Way, Gislingham.
I have been selected to be part of the 120 strong Explorers and Leaders expedition to South Africa representing Suffolk Scouts which will take place in July/August 2017.
During the expedition, I will be participating in projects including building; gardening, redevelopment and working with key workers in very impoverished communities. I will also have the opportunity to see the wildlife which is abundant in South Africa. This will be a life changing experience for my fellow Explorers and me.
To help cover the cost of my trip, amongst other fundraising activities with the Explorers, I am hoping to raise more funds by carrying out small odd jobs.
I would like to thank the residents who have kindly asked me to do various jobs so far from car washing, painting, gardening, grass cutting and feeding cats and chickens, which has really helped me with my fundraising.
I now have only a few months left before my trip, so if any resident requires a job to be done, please think of me first.
All donations would be really appreciated. Please call me on 01379 788998
